Rankings are based on truck, tractor, trailer, OO, Employee, truckload, LTL, Dedicated, Expedited, Inter modal Temp Control Bulk Tanker and warehousing numbers. Information was gathered during extensive telephone polling in January to February 2022.

Tractors– refers to vehicles meant to pull semi trailers.
Trailers– refers to shipping containers on wheels.
OO Gauge– standard-gauge model railway standard.
Truckload– refers to a full shipping container
LTL– is less then truck load
Dedicated– refers to how many trucks (drivers) a customer has.
Expediated– trucks that deal with rush orders.
Intermodal– involving two or more different modes of transportation.
Temp Control– refers to temperature controlled reefer containers
Bulk– ability to carry bulk freight
Tanker– refers to liquid carrying vessels
Warehousing– refers to a warehouse
