EXT. HARBOR – DAY
The camera shows a busy harbor with ships coming and going. In the background, we see a large ship being loaded with shipping containers.
Cut to:
INT. SHIP’S BRIDGE – DAY
Captain Smith, a middle-aged man with a stern look, is standing in front of the ship’s navigation equipment. He is speaking to his first officer.
CAPTAIN SMITH
We need to get this ship to port as soon as possible. I don’t like the looks of this storm that’s coming our way.
FIRST OFFICER
Understood, sir. We’ll do our best to keep the ship on course.
Cut to:
EXT. HARBOR – DAY
The camera shows the ship leaving the harbor and heading into the open sea. The sky is dark and ominous.
Cut to:
INT. SHIP’S CARGO HOLD – DAY
The camera shows a view of the ship’s cargo hold. It is packed with shipping containers. Suddenly, one of the containers starts to shake and rattle.
Cut to:
INT. SHIP’S BRIDGE – DAY
The first officer is speaking to Captain Smith.
FIRST OFFICER
Captain, I think we have a problem with one of the containers.
CAPTAIN SMITH
What kind of problem?
FIRST OFFICER
It’s shaking and rattling, like something is trying to break free.
CAPTAIN SMITH
(alarmed)
Get down there and check it out.
The first officer hurries out of the bridge.
Cut to:
INT. SHIP’S CARGO HOLD – DAY
The first officer reaches the container and starts to inspect it. Suddenly, the container bursts open and a creature jumps out, knocking the first officer to the ground.
Cut to:
INT. SHIP’S BRIDGE – DAY
Captain Smith is on the phone, calling for help.
CAPTAIN SMITH
(into the phone)
This is the captain of the MV Containment. We have a situation on board. We need immediate assistance.
Cut to:
INT. SHIP’S CARGO HOLD – DAY
The creature starts to move from container to container, causing chaos and destruction. The crew is fighting for their lives.
Cut to:
EXT. HARBOR – DAY
A rescue team arrives and boards the ship. They work together with the crew to capture the creature and secure the ship.
Cut to:
INT. SHIP’S BRIDGE – DAY
Captain Smith is speaking to one of the rescue team members.
CAPTAIN SMITH
What was that thing?
RESCUE TEAM MEMBER
It was a prehistoric creature, one that was thought to be extinct. It must have been trapped in the shipping container for who knows how long.
CAPTAIN SMITH
(thoughtful)
This is a reminder of how dangerous shipping containers can be. We need to be more careful in the future.
