What is a LIB Forklift- LIB stands for Lithium Ion Battery. Normally LIB forklifts are 30-50% more expensive then lead acid battery powered forklifts. LIB forklifts charge faster allowing for longer daily use compared to LAB forklifts.

What is a LAB Forklift- LAB stands for Lead Acid Battery. The majority of forklifts in warehouses today are Lead Acid Battery (roughly 90%). Since LIB forklifts are just recently introduced in to the market and lead acid has been a staple in the industry, it will be a while until we see full adoption of LIB forklift technology in warehouses and distribution centers.
What are CNG/Propane powered Forklifts?
A third option in forklifts is CNG/Propane powered. These forklifts are the fastest to charge as it just requires replacing the empty propane tank with a full one. The use of these forklifts in closed indoor environments is not recommended due to exhaust fumes.
